Partner - Investor Relations
Mr. Timm retired as the Investor Relations Partner with Morgenthaler Ventures in June 2009. He focused principally on fundraising and investor relations. Prior to joining the Morgenthaler Ventures in 1998 he spent twenty-eight years in the securities industry where he managed the sales training school at E.F. Hutton, and was VP Marketing for the Boston Stock Exchange. Subsequently, he was in the investment management industry, as the head of institutional marketing for State Street Bank (now SSGA), and a founding principal of Franklin Portfolio Associates. He has been and continues to be, a trustee and advisor to numerous endowments including The Boston Foundation, The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and Virginia State University. Spencer graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1966.
